A warm Welsh welcome awaits you at Dinas Farm where you will not only get excellent
accommodation but also that little extra to enhance your holiday experience ......
Formerly, one of Lord Snowdon's farms, Dinas Farm is now a family run dairy farm. You
will have the unique insight into welsh rural life and culture. Your children will
marvel at the cows being milked and watch in amazement at calves being born. We aim
to give you a lovely, relaxed holiday whilst also being educational.
The farmhouse stands majestically in 200 acres of beautiful, unspoilt countryside
that gently rolls towards the river Gwyrfai forming part of the farm's boundary. The
romantic Welsh Highland Railway running to Caernarfon and Rhyd Ddu forms another of
the farm's boundaries. You can leave the car and enjoy this fantastic journey through
breathtaking scenery - find out more at www.festrail.co.uk
The station at Dinas is accessible at the farm's entrance as is the Lon Eifion - the
main walking/cycling route in the area which gives immediate access to miles of safe
cycling and walking. Lon Eifion forms part of the Lon Las Cymru National Cycle Network
from Holyhead to Cardiff. Click on www.sustrans.org.uk to find out more.
This historical, walled town of Caernarfon is only 3m away and a visit to its magnificent
Edwardian Castle is a must. At Y Galeri, Victoria Dock, every Tuesday evening,
at 7:45 the Caernarfon Male Voice Choir has a practice session and visitors are
welcome for a small charge of £1. The session usually lasts for 2 hours and is well
worth a visit. www.cormeibioncaernarfon.org
